On the evening of Wednesday 29th May, a cheque for £1800 was presented to the Bexhill Fire Cadets by representatives of the Bexhill 100 Motoring Club.

Generous donations were received from Cllr. Abul Azad, St. Michael's Rest Home, Sussex Staffing Ltd, Holistic Care Innovations and the proceeds from the recent curry and quiz evening held at the Shiplu Indian restaurant in Bexhill, hosted by Cllr. Azad.

Speeches were made by our own Chris Speck, Cllr. Azad and Chief Fire Officer Dawn Whittaker.

Our sincere thanks go to everyone who made the presentation possible, including Susan Taylor and her colleagues from East Surrey Fire & Rescue Service for all their efforts in ensuring that the presentation evening was a success.
